Super Nutrition Tip For Busy People
All diets that work involve a natural nutrition component. Those of us who are truly concerned about our health will take what we believe are nutritional vitamins or some kind of supposed nutrition supplement when we remember. Do these work? How do we know?
We eat too fast, we eat whenever we can, and we usually don’t get even close to the amount of vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients we need every day
The real problem is that most of us don’t even have time to pay attention to our friends and family, never mind nutrition! So if you care about your health and you don’t have time to eat well, what can you do?
I have been researching and trying different things to stay well, right on in to middle age, since I can remember. I was lucky because my mother and father made us eat right as kids so I had good habits and instincts to begin with. You know, no sugared cereal, no soda, home made meals and breads almost no processed foods, etc..
I was way ahead of most people going into adult hood as far as eating habits were concerned. Then I hit adulthood and responsibilities kicked in; my own business, kids, life!, etc…
So, long story short I got fat and fell into a bad-habit-rut. So a few years ago I start the trip back to health and fitness (a whole other story-series of posts!) and one of the the things that I discovered was this concoction called Amazing Grass. It’s like a nutrition plus convenience combination in a scoop of green powder.
I honestly can’t remember who referred it to me originally, but, I do have some granola eating friends so it could have been one of a few people.
Now, I eat pretty well, and I get my exercise, but I am also 48 years old, a small business owner and single father of three kids so I am very busy, reasonably stress challenged and certainly don’t have much time. Turn the clocks forward 4 years and I have not been sick once! Not a cough, not a cold, nothing!
I can’t say for sure that this stuff is solely responsible for those results, but, I would bet my life on the fact that it’s a major factor.
It’s a concentrated powder of every green vegetable known to man (who knows:)), and I throw it in a blender every morning with fruit (I use bananas and strawberries, some low fat milk and organic peanut butter). You have to mix it with something because it’s disgusting on its own.
What this mixture does is set you up everyday in about 5 minutes, with everything you need for the day in case you get too busy later in the day or you have to grab something that’s not great, just to get some fuel in a rush.
If you really want to get healthy or simply stay healthy and you’re flying around frazzled all day so you are not eating well, I recommend you buy some and try this smoothie recipe for a month or two and see what happens. I bet you’ll buy the second one!!!
